The White House says that 22 US citizens were killed in Saturday's attack and 17 are missing.

Zelensky's office sent an official request to the Israeli Prime Minister's office asking to coordinate a visit.

<p>PM Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the public and said: "We saw the beasts, the barbarians with whom we are fighting. We saw children who were shot in the head, men and women who were burned alive."</p><p>"We saw young women who were raped and butchered, soldiers whose heads were cut off" he added.</p><p>"In one place", Netanyahu said, "they put people in and brought spare wheels around so that there would be flammable material and they were burned them alive."</p>

<p>Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoje the public with PM Netanyahu and said: "This was a murderous attack, worse than any other terrorist attack that has ever occurred in the world".</p><p>"Thousands of terrorists attacked with the aim of looting, killing and slaughtering", he added, "I have served the State of Israel as a soldier and fighter for 47 years, I have seen many difficult events, I have never seen such an event".</p><p>"Children were forced on each other and murdered", he described, "people were burned and there were barbaric acts that the Jewish people had not experienced since 1945."</p>
